Other software can look for metadata in different places. To maximize compatibility, Photo Mechanic comes with preference snapshots for your preferred software. To set this up:
- Go to Preferences.
- Choose IPTC/XMP.
- Select the Snapshot button (the lightning bolt).
- Choose the appropriate option, and select OK to apply the changes.
